Fall essentials

I've been on this journey for less . Less stuff , less expense , less maintenance .

Reason being is that it's part of a Zen life . A life where you pack less so you don't have to drag luggage around the airport . A life where you only take thirty minutes to get ready. A life where things just are simple . 

So I've turned to RECYCLING . 

Not the card board every first of the month and bottles/can on Tuesday. The kind that involves wearing your pieces of clothing more than seasonally . 

Rules of engagement . 

1. Accessorize , now think objectively. Your time pieces are your bag , wallet , watch and shoes . These pieces you want to be quality and durable . Not too flashy or trendy bc you want them to last more than just the year . 

2. Color , you know in the summer/spring we run on the lighter side of life so in outerwear keep it neutral and classic . Taupe, slate , any shade of grey or beige really. 

3. Material , in my mind a suede shoe says winter as leather says interchangeable. Also keep in mind for spring/fall you will need a lighter jacket so corduroy ... Out of the question.

4. Pick a theme , timeless means classic .. So pick a side gold or silver . Once you've done that stick to it make sure any of your costume will match the metallic color of your time pieces .

5 Get it together , as you play with the seasons you will learn that monochrome will take you far . Heavy materials and accessories will take you as far as one stop on the subway. Make sure your trendy pieces are disposable and not splurged on and you are in the clear.
