BLOWOUT COMMANDEMENTS

NOW THAT IS A BLOWOUT ..

 Blow out commandments

Being coined the blowout queen didn't  come over night or without learning the next few tips . Here's to passing it forward !

1. Use the right shampoo /conditioner combination.

For frizzy & curly hair use a smoothing shampoo/conditioner

Color treated & normal you have more flexibility as far as a volumizing  or shine combination .

For damaged blondes or blondes in general , you better wash and then mask and only then you can be blow drying

2. Have a nozzle on your blow dryer . Non negotiable

3. Brushes , my personal preference is a ceramic brush . I find it helps enough with the smoothing and getting the hair straight .

4. Product , less is always more , ALWAYS .. Pick one be it a heat protectant or a smoother , usually you can find a product that has both in it

5. Section , attacking your hair point blank with your brush and attempting to dry it all at once is the equivalent of trying to cook all of thanksgiving dinner in a raging fire .

6. Start with the front , doing the front sections first insures that your bangs/ angles will behave and stay styled better , longer.

7. Brush size, brush size changes everything. The smaller the brush the more of a curl / bend your going to get.

8. Clips , they are necessary to keeping hair that doesn't belong when your sectioning. Keeping your sections clean helps avoid frizz by not half drying hair that isn't ready to be dried just yet.

9. Blow dryer, if you want to have a good blow out you better have a good blower . In my past experience i have found that dryers with atleast 1200 volts tend to be your best bet.

10. Lube it up, now we all know balance is everything , what you take away you must reciprocate. take a small amount of an oil or shine spray to rehydrate
