The regular

Over the years I've learned a few tricks that save me some time and increase the longevity of a blowout. Recently , one of my long time clients told me she wanted the regular blowout when she sat down. According to her hubby it's perfect when it's just straight nothing too big or curly.

So this post is essentially for the Joes of the world who appreciate the simplicity in a polished blow out.

As always, I recommend well hydrated hair and minimal product. Keep your product to a minimum. Be sure to start in the front contrary to common belief that you should start in the back. You start in the front because you don't want to skimp out effort wise on your angles and bangs if you have them. Next , know your brushes the bigger the brush the less of a curl or wave you're going to get. Also  you must have a concentrator there is absolutely, positively NO SHOT you will be frizz free otherwise.

So once you section your hair tend to your roots and make sure they are dry and frizz free move on the ends and this is what is going to seperate a basic blow out from the "regular".

When on each section and you are close to the ends turn the brush to get a grip and create tension.

Without letting go tilt your brush to the side a little bit and aim the blow dryer to the middle of the brush.

Final step roll the brush as if it were a curling iron and focus the heat again on the brush. Leave the brush is for a second before you release it and you're all set.
