7 REASONS BOX DYE DOESN'T WORK

SORRY GUYS, IT'S NOT HAPPENING

7 reasons why a box dye work..

1. Your doing it . It's nearly impossible not to miss spots putting on your own color .

2. There is no way to gage how light or dark it is because they name the colors, as opposed to having a numerical system to judge from light to dark .

3. They're progressive , as you continue to use and overlap the dye the darker your hair will get regardless of it being a lighter box.

4. You don't know what the base color is . Not knowing the base color of the dye affects the end result and grey coverage.

5. Your hair gets dry and crispy . How does the dye create dryness ? The at home dyes aren't strong enough on their own to not fade and stay in your hair so when they are formulated metallic salts are added in order to make the color stick . So yes using at home dye you will have tiny microscopic shards of metal in your hair .

6. Grey coverage is a joke .

7. No matter what the box says about being multi toned , it never is because of the metallic salts . It's science .
